1st solodancer from the Conjunto Folklorico
Nacional de Cuba. Chiqui has been on tour with
CFN de Cuba in a several countries in Europe
Japan, Korea and China. He has received
several prizes and awards, for example as
Germany in 1974. At the annual carnival in
Habana in the years 1969-90 he received first or
second prize for best coreography etc.

the leading role in "La Rumba- Papa Montero, wich received a Cuban
artists. like the female singer Celina Gonzales, Omara Portuondo, Elena
Burke and Celeste Mendoza, the pantomime artist and comedian
Venezuela, the percussionists Los Papines, Tatag?ines an Pello el frokan.
Orchestras like Irakere, Los van Van, Orchesta Arag?n, La orchesta Jorr?n
and Sierra Maestra. Chiqui came to sweden 1992. Since then he has ben
contracted as dancepedagogue, guest dance teacher and choreographer
at the Royal Academy of Music, The College of Dance and the Balet
Academy in Stockholm, and the Academy of Music in Malm?. He has also
been invited as dance teacher and artist in Denmark, Finland, Holland,
Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Scottland, England, Canada and the USA. Chiqui
teach all the different afrocuban and cuban dances like: Yoruba,
Congo,Rumba,Son,Mambo,Cha-cha-ch?,Danz?n, to mention a few. He
also teach tecnique and latinjazz.
